Carole spent a week touring Ireland in September 2007 with her sketch book and camera gathering lots of new source material in readiness for her next project. She visited Achill Island on the west coast, Westport, Galway, the Dingle Penninsula, the Ring of Kerry and finally Kinsale. It was a whistle stop tour but one that gave her a clear feeling for the place and where she would like to spend more time in the future.
Back in her studio Carole has been working from her sketches and photographs in acrylics and mixed media incorporating collage and texture. Click on the link below to take you to the Mixed Media paintings.
