Carole spends a fair amount of time walking and sketching in and around Snowdonia. She also runs a 4 day painting course at Brushstrokes in Dolwyddelan near to pictureque Betws-y-Coed. These paintings have been created using techniques such as wet-in-wet (watercolour / acrylic), mixing media such as watercolour and pastel and/or ink, painting with a print roller and drawing with the edge of mount board, painting solely with a palette knife, and incorporating collage and texture.
