Carole's affinity with the countryside leaves her with no lack of inspiration when it comes to painting the landscape. Using the sketches and photographs she gathers on her travels as a starting point, she likes to work in mixed media... this may be just watercolour with a touch of pastel, or using collage as part of the painting, Indian ink, texture paste and oil pastel. Below are some paintings of Gentleshaw Common, Lichfield and the surrounding area. You can see a selection of this work around the country at various group and solo exhibitions.
