Carole's affinity with the countryside leaves her with no lack of inspiration when it comes to painting the landscape. Using the sketches and photographs she gathers on her travels as a starting point, she likes to work in mixed media... this may be just watercolour with a touch of pastel, or using collage as part of the painting, Indian ink, texture paste and oil pastel.
