Plein Air Painting Workshop – Capture the Beauty of the Outdoors

Join me for an inspiring day of plein air painting, where you’ll learn to embrace the unique challenges and rewards of painting directly from life. This workshop will sharpen your ability to see and simplify—helping you to organise complex subject matter and present it in a fresh, confident, and expressive way.

We’ll work in watercolour with ink or pastel, focusing on capturing the essence of the landscape with bold, expressive marks and thoughtful composition. Through a combination of demonstrations and individual guidance, you’ll learn how to translate what you see into dynamic, evocative paintings.

Expect to gather rich source material—sketches and photographs—that you can develop further back in the studio. Understanding how to paint from life will deepen your connection to your work and give you greater confidence in your creative process.

This workshop is perfect for those who are fairly active and mobile, as we’ll be working outdoors and moving between locations. If you’ve ever wanted to loosen up your style and paint with greater freedom, this is the perfect opportunity.

Come and discover the joy of capturing the landscape as you see it—spontaneous, vibrant, and alive.

Suitable for ALL LEVELS OF ABILITY.
