INTERESTING FOREGROUNDS IN WATERCOLOUR PLUS - Thursday 6 June 2024

Very often tangled brambles, a busy hedgerow or a complicated foreground generally, can deter you from picking up your paintbrush! This workshop concentrates on turning such subject matter into an interesting foreground, almost making it the focal point with lots of interest. Create movement and energy in a painting by incorporating texture with a semi-abstract approach using watercolour, ink, pastels.

Students travel from all over the UK and abroad for her workshops. There is a host of B&Bs and hotels near to Carole's studio, so please ask for details.

STUDIO ACCESS
Access does involve gravel and in places, uneven paths and a step up into the studio. Please let us know if you have specific needs, as these may be able to be accommodated. Parking is at the car owner’s risk.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
If there are not a viable number of students, workshops may be cancelled and payment returned. Should you cancel, a refund will be given less 50% of the course fee. It is regretted that no refund can be made in respect of bookings cancelled 30 days (or less) prior to the date of the workshop. If you cancel a workshop and we are able to fill your place, we will charge a handling fee of £20 and hold the remaining fee in credit to be used for a later booking. If we are unable to fill your place, the fee is not refundable. The booking is non transferable.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly advised that you are covered by personal travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the art experience, or for arriving late or leaving early. You should consider trip cancellation insurance to cover your trip fees in the event of travel disruption, illness or injury before your arrival.
