How to plan a painting from the initial location sketch to preparation of a compositional plan for a finished painting...

Carole has introduced a new ONLINE WORKSHOP  focussed on gathering source material for use in future studio work . 

We will be considering the landscape, looking for interesting composition and training our eye to look for possibilities – looking at colour, working very quickly not aiming for finished paintings but a much more spontaneous response.  We will be working in watercolour and soft pastels in our sketchbooks.
